Introducing the Supra XL Annorum, an exceptional speaker cable developed to mark our 40th Anniversary. Named with a blend of Latin and numbers, “XL” signifies 40 (10 + 50), and “Annorum” is derived from “Anno” meaning year, celebrating four decades of audio innovation. This cable was crafted in collaboration with a renowned Swedish speaker designer, known for premium speaker brands like QLN, and was initially intended as internal wiring for drivers and cross-over filters. Its outstanding performance, however, inspired us to create a complete, high-performance speaker cable.
The Supra XL Annorum features a unique 4 x 1.6 mm² Star Quad configuration, designed for optimal performance. Each conductor consists of a plastic core tightly wound with 12 strands of 5N oxygen-free copper in a compact pitch. This design minimizes skin effect and inductance, ensuring clear signal transmission. We’ve selected PP as the dielectric material for its sonic neutrality and superior resistance to corrosion and material fatigue, providing durability and sonic stability year after year.
Positioned between our renowned Supra Quadrax and Sword models, the Supra XL Annorum offers a perfect blend of performance and value.
